I treasure my multiple identities as collaborator, connector, facilitator, learner, provocateur, chocoholic, grandmother, gardener, etc. My vocations include online interaction designer, technology steward, facilitator for communities of practice/learning/distributed teams, the generative application of social media, and facilitation of online communities. Through my consultancy, "Full Circle Associates" I have a special interest in the NGO/NPO sector and have worked extensively in international development. I blog , tweet, teach, present and write about all sorts of learning, technology and process issues. I co-authored with Etienne Wenger and John Smith "Digital Habitats: stewarding technology for communities". Prior to my solo career, I helped run an internet start up, worked in maternal and child health, and broadcasting, and I appreciate the diversity and similarities of all these callings.

Trusted Sharing offers not only a platform for many of the things I do, but a set of values and appreciation for social containers, useful group process and getting results.

My current passion is to strengthen innovative leadership for sustainable development. I do this as professor of public administration at NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, director of Innovative Leadership Services, UN consultant, Fulbright program specialist, facilitator, public speaker and writer. Previously I was UN Development Program (UNDP) Principal Policy Advisor on decentralized governance assisting countries worldwide in policy and program development. Before that I directed an NGO, the Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA), in four counties conducting community, organizational and leadership development projects. I have loved being an international development practitioner for over 45 years working in over 50 countries.  I have also published several books and articles related to innovative leadership and sustainable development

I am an independent facilitator, trainer and consultant based in London. I am a Certified Professional Facilitator of the International Association of Facilitators, and former IAF Chair and IAF Europe Director. I am President of the Institute of Cultural Affairs International (ICAI), and an Associate and former Chief Executive of ICA:UK, the participation & development charity. I have been facilitating and training, specialising in ICA’s ToP facilitation methodology, since 1986. I began my career in grassroots community development work in India, Africa and the Middle East, after awakening to my own passion and commitment as an international volunteer in 1986.

I work particularly with voluntary organisations of civil society, with public and cross-sector partnerships, and with development and humanitarian agencies. I work locally, nationally, internationally and online, from my home base in London.

What drives me is my passion and commitment to make a positive difference in the world, and to support and enable others to do so as well. I believe that facilitation and facilitative leadership will be key to achieving a just and sustainable world for all. The great reward of my work today is to see people awaken to their own power to make a difference, and to their capacity to join and align with others to achieve common goals for the greater good – to awaken to the power of their participation and their leadership.

Since 2000, I have provided decision management consulting and facilitation support services that focus on creating tailored solutions that enable clients to make informed Decisions, take purposeful Actions, and achieve meaningful Results.

As Senior Management Consultant for WBB Consulting, and then as President of DAR Solutions, LLC, I have helped corporations and various government organizations (within DoD, NASA, DVA, DHS, and HUD) improve their performance through improved process management, risk management, change management, organization development, portfolio management, and strategic management. As a consultant, I also facilitated numerous organizational meetings, workshops, retreats, and multi-day conferences.

Since 2008 I have been an Executive at the Mid-Atlantic Facilitators Network (MAFN), including the President and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Since 2012 I have served as MAFN’s Director of Online Learning Programs, including hosting a monthly online webinar series for professional facilitators.

Between 1971 and 2000 I served in the US Navy. Highlights of my career included Commanding Officer of 2 nuclear-powered submarines (5 years), Director of Performance Excellence and Primary Assistant for Leadership and Quality to the Commanders at two separate Navy Echelon 2 commands (1990-1995), the Navy’s representative to the Conference Board’s Quality Council (1993-1995) and Performance Excellence Council (1997-2000), and Inspector General of the US Atlantic Fleet (1997-2000).

In addition to hosting monthly webinars, my passion is to leverage my wisdom and experience to give back to the community through pro-bono consultancy and facilitation services.

Cheri Torres

Cheri specializes in leadership and team development, emphasizing excellence as an evolving target. Cheri holds a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with a specialization in Collaborative Learning from the University of Tennessee. She also holds an MBA, a Masters in Transpersonal Psychology, Level 2 certification in Cultural Transformation Tools/Barrett Values Centre, and level II certification in Spiral Dynamics Integral. She has authored numerous books and articles including The Appreciative Facilitator: Accelerated Learning Practices and Dynamic Relationships: Unleashing the Power of Appreciative Inquiry in Daily Living. Most recently, she co-authored a chapter for the newest edition of Advances in Appreciative Inquiry and a chapter in Appreciative Education. She co-designed and patented Mobile Team Challenge, an award-winning, portable low ropes course. She is an Associate with the Taos Institute and is Co-Chair of the Board of Mycelium, a learning community/network of people committed to activating their fullest potential and creating solutions to the challenges and opportunities of our times.
 
 
 

Linda Bark
Wisdom of the Whole Coaching Academy

Linda has created new professional pathways in communication, coaching, and health. In 1970 she was a pioneer in starting a nursing private practice and brought holistic nursing to hospitals in the 80s. During the next decade she led medical tours to China, lived in China to discover how to help Westerners create a context for Eastern healing, and consulted to organizations nationwide to start integral/holistic healing centers. Using her coaching model principles, she still works with organizations building healthy cultures. She continues to teach her Wisdom of the Whole coaching model through her Academy internationally at such institutions as Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic and KPMG in India and to work in her private practice as a life/health/business/executive/mentor coach. She has an award winning coaching textbook and has been instrumental in setting up certifications for both the Nurse Coach and the Health and Wellness Coach.

Her formal education includes 2 nursing degrees, a master’s degree in Life Transition Counseling, a certificate in Integral Health Studies, a PhD in Philosophy, and post-graduate studies in Indian Spirituality.

She currently lives in the San Francisco Bay area and travels to Nevada frequently to visit her daughter and her family who live on a working cattle ranch. Her grandchildren have many 4-H projects so Linda is able to help with the goat heard, the rabbits, cattle, cats and dogs. She finds it a nice balance to her city life and work.

Linda has been an advisor for over 15 years to several past lives and the current vision of Trusted Sharing and finds this version the most powerful and applicable. She loves using it as an alternative to emails in organizations as well as a platform to create study groups and meaningful conversations among her coaching community.
 
 
 

Rosa Zubizarreta

Rosa works with leaders and groups who want to catalyze creativity and collaboration. Through strategic conversations, she helps group learn together, develop shared systemic perspectives, and catalyze effective action.

Trained in Organization Development and Action Research, Rosa's practice is informed by a variety of dialogic modalities, including Future Search, Open Space Technology, World Café, and Appreciative Inquiry. Her deep listening work is grounded in decades of personal practice with Focusing, Internal Family Systems therapy, and Inner Empathy. With three master's degrees (Multicultural Education, Social Work, and Organization Development) she is currently working on a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems at Fielding Graduate University.

Rosa's particular expertise as a consultant is working with multi-level empathy to support collaborative sense-making within highly diverse groups. Author of "From Conflict to Creative Collaboration: A User's Guide to Dynamic Facilitation," she teaches this work internationally. Organizational consultants, facilitators, and mediators appreciate these powerful learning journeys as opportunities to deepen their own personal growth and expand their professional skills.

With a focus on the application of collective intelligence to participatory public policy processes, Rosa's writings in this field include her collaboration with Tom Atlee on his book The Tao of Democracy; a seed paper, "Deepening Democracy" , commissioned by the Collective Wisdom Initiative; and more recently, Participatory Public Policy Microcosms , an article in Spanda Journal. Recently, Rosa has been using Trusted Sharing for the purpose of supporting a community of practice in the area of co-intelligence; she is very interested in continuing to explore the many possibilities offered by this online tool.

In my work as Director for the World Cafe Community Foundation's suite of Signature Learning Programs, I have collaboratively developed and delivered World Café's learning programs in both face-to-face and online formats.  The flagship eight-week online course, "Hosting World Cafe: The Fundamentals", is offered in partnership with Fielding Graduate University, where I serve as Adjunct Faculty.

As the founder of online event production company weDialogue, I have pioneered the format for online World Cafes that engage participants from virtually every country in the world. I host and help other individuals and organizations host World Cafe and other vibrant interactive events and trainings online.

I am also the founder of Clear Light Communications, an online design and communications company that creates positive, welcoming online environments. 

My strengths are in creating customized online environments that are beautiful, engaging, and effective. I specialize in utilizing appropriate tools and integrating simple but profound principles and practices to support individuals and develop communities for the purpose of catalyzing deep connection and true collaboration.

My passion is advocating on behalf of behavioral and women's healthcare providers and the organizations and vendors who provide services to these populations. I enjoy sharing what I learn through conference presentations, blog articles and as part of my consulting work. I make it my job to keep up with changes in the field and will always steer clients toward vendors who are credible, honorable in regard to their products and services, and follow smart marketing practices (e.g., If you are good, you don't need to wax poetic about it.). I also watch where vendors invest their funds to make sure research and development is a priority.

Electronic health record software and revenue cycle management are just a few of the tools with which I work. I proudly advocate on behalf of those who are willing to listen to client feedback and serve their clients in a responsible and ethical manner. It has been my privilege to facilitate a number of partnerships between software and service organizations that cater to these markets.

As a consultant I always look for visionary business leaders. In my former career in the CRM industry and now as I focus on the EHR market I continue to have my hands in so many projects that I can keep my clients informed about what is trending in healthcare.
